Dr. Abram Estrada, happily married to his supportive wife Ellie, is a proud father of two daughters, Adanai Elliesha Estrada and Abrie Ezraella. Born to Maria and the late Alfredo Estrada, he is also a cherished brother to Joe, Abel, and Eric Estrada.
 
With a Ph.D. in General Psychology specializing in cognition and instruction, Dr. Estrada earned his M.S. in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and his B.A. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University Kingsville. During his undergrad, he showcased dedication to academics and sports, actively participating in football.
 
With a 19-year career, Dr. Abram Estrada has made significant contributions to education, holding pivotal roles at Pharr-San Juan Alamo ISD, including Principal, Early College Director, Administrator, English Teacher, and PE Teacher.
 
Advocating for innovation and elite standards, Dr. Estrada is a role model known for his commitment to excellence. As a superintendent, he envisions leading a district to an exemplary rating, inspiring others with dedication to work and community. His philosophy is to be a "leader of leaders," fostering a structured, supportive environment where everyone feels appreciated, takes risks in learning, and becomes active members of a learning community.
 
Dr. Estrada's leadership strengths lie in making people believe in themselves, fostering success for teachers, administrators, staff, and students. Throughout his career, he's made positive differences, especially by encouraging and supporting students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Despite his achievements, he humbly acknowledges the blessings and knowledge received from his previous supervisors, mentors, and leaders.
